To review STAAR state-level reports, visit the Texas Education Agency website at http://tea.texas.gov/staar/rpt/sum/.

***Directions for "How To Access the Parent Portal" are attached.

Parents are encouraged to visit www.texasassessment.com and “Log In, Learn More” to see specific information regarding their student. With a student access code (provided by your local school district), parents can view a variety of resources and assessment components, including each STAAR question and answer—along with their student’s answers. The website also provides resources designed to help parents prepare their son or daughter as they progress from grade level to grade level. Resources include tools to support a student’s ability to read and write, as well as tips and questions to help prepare for parent-teacher conferences in the new school year.

State school report cards have been released and can be accessed electronically in the district information page. We also have the report card and definitions available to any parent who requests a copy.

Attached is a zip file with all campus reports and the definitions in English and Spanish.

For the student report card:

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year
We will continue our high expectations for all of our students as we continue to make them aware of community service opportunities and keep them engaged and learning in every classroom. This is one way in which we grow our students so that they may reach their highest potential.
Please continue to make time each day and encourage your child/ren to read 20 minutes each night. Having a family member or friend ask probing questions about the daily reading will help students improve their ability to focus, and comprehend their newly acquired knowledge.
Take time to look at the fun activities going on here at Bonham MS on our website and FB page!  Don't forget to check our calendar on the BMS website for scheduled events!

Continue to use Family Access to regularly view your child/ren's grades.

The Federal School Report Card for previous years results is available at the following link. It provides important information concerning STAAR performance, enrollment, class size, and finances.  Go to https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/frc/2015/srch.html for more information.

Make it a goal with your child/ren for the 2018-19 school year, to be at school on time and ready to learn. Remember that doors open at 7:25 a.m. and the first bell rings at 7:45am. We serve breakfast every day before the school day begins.
