All Temple ISD schools will release one hour early on Thursday, March 1 and start one hour late on Friday, March 2, to help ensure safe travel for our community to the Temple High School Girls Basketball team's state semi-final game on Thursday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Dr. Battershell did not make this decision lightly, and understands this impacts parent's schedules. However, due to the large amount of students, parents and staff who indicate they plan to travel to San Antonio for the game on Thursday, she feels this is an important decision to ensure people give themselves enough time to make it safely to and from the game.
The Tem-Cats will play Amarillo High School on Thursday (3/1) at 8:30 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Click HERE for game and ticket information.
