STAAR tests are in March and May. Please look at the attached flyer for information on testing dates and how you can prepare your student to be successful on the STAAR tests.

Bonham art students participated in the JR Visual Art Scholastic Event in Midway ISD on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

The Bonham Athletic Banquet is Monday, April 24, 2017 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The scheduled guest speaker is Scott Stewart. Tickets cost $10.00 each, and are required for attendance.

Celebrate spring at the TISD Spring Carnival, located at Temple High School's parking lot and lawn. There will be fun for all ages on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets are 25 cents each.

7th graders who are in Pre-AP Math will take the 8th grade STAAR Math test on Wednesday, March 29. Click on this news story to read the letter from Dr. Ott's office regarding the change in test date for this group of students.

Progress reports go home with BMS students Wednesday, March 22. The end of the 5th Six Weeks grading period is April 13, 2017.

Students in the designated top 10% on each middle school campus will be recognized on an annual basis. The Top 10% is determined by the student’s cumulative average of the core academic courses of English/language arts, math, science, social studies, and languages other English. The cumulative average will be comprised of a student’s semester averages during 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. The ranking period shall end after the fifth grading period for middle school.

Bonham parents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the STAAR tests that the students take in the spring. The meeting will cover which tests the students take and tips to prepare students at home for testing day. We look forward to seeing you on March 7!
