When performance drops, keep expectations high
If your teen's school performance drops, don't lower your expectations. Instead, motivate her to meet them. Talk often with your teen about the value of education and the college and career options she'll have by doing well in school. Meet with her counselor and find out what your teen needs to do to get back on track. Encourage your teen to set small, achievable goals, and be clear that you won't give up on her.
